Every morning when my students come to school I stand at the door and greet them. One particular morning Eric came running down the hall yelling, "Teacher, Teacher, Teacher!" He ran up to me and proceded to tell me the Toy Truck Story.
Eric: Guess what?
Me: What?
Eric: Last night I was playing with my toy trucks and I couldn't find my blue one. That one's my favorite next to my green one and my orange and black striped one.
Me: Really? You couldn't find it?
Eric: Nope. So I told my mom I was going to say a prayer and then guess what?
Me: What?
Eric: I said amen and then looked in the couch and I found it! I knew I would!
I love the faith of young children.
